Your job would be two-fold: a language instructor and cultural ambassador. These two aspects are inseparable, and Interac ALTs aim to become experts in both.
Entrusted with being the English expert in the classroom, you could expect to teach on your own, with a Japanese teacher present to help manage the class.
2.5 mil - 2.7 mil yen

・English: Native level (required)
・Japanese: Not necessary
・Has teaching experience (less than a year is OK)
・Meets the following criteria;
-Criteria 1: University graduate with at least a bachelor’s degree (in any subject)
※Top tier college or not is OK
-Criteria 2: Hold a valid residence/visa status and possess a valid Residence Card
※Long-term, Permanent, Spouse or child of Japanese, Japanese-Criteria 3: Has had at least 12 years of education where the language of instruction was English
※If criteria #3 did not meet, or alternatively, has had a proper visa of 2 years in Japan
-Criteria 4: Professional in all aspects of behavior, a team-player, flexible cheerful, and energetic
※Brings good impression as a friendly teacher
-Criteria 5: Possess a Japanese driving license or international permit and be willing to drive.
※Kanto area; NOT NECESSARY but a plus.
